Grown in the hills around Pichanaki in central Peru, this coffee comes from a part of the country where the Andes begin to soften into the jungle.
It’s a wild, green landscape. Steep slopes, thick forest, warm days and cool nights. The kind of environment where coffee ripens slowly and develops natural sweetness and clarity.
Farming here is small scale and hands on. Most producers work just a few hectares, picking cherries by hand and washing and drying coffee right at home. It’s careful, personal work, done lot by lot rather than at scale.
That approach shows in the cup.
This is our first coffee from Peru and it feels like a proper introduction.
Honest, approachable, and rooted in place.
A reminder that great coffee doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s simply well grown, well handled, and shared with care.
